Deployment & Resilience
Cognethics runs on AWS in the United States. Production data is stored on encrypted volumes under keys held in our own AWS account, and every connection is encrypted in transit. The production database is backed up every day, and each backup is copied to a second AWS region into write-once storage that keeps thirty-five days of history. Operating-system volumes are snapshotted daily, with weekly snapshots kept for four weeks. Restoring the platform onto replacement infrastructure is a documented procedure that has been carried out in production.
